Lisa relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in comedy, acting, and writing. She honed her craft at The Comedy Store on Sunset. She performed often in the Belly Room and a several times in the Main Room and the Original Room.
As a plus-sized actor Lisa has had a fortuitous career landing television roles on “CSI”, “ER”, and HBO’s “Carnivale” and roles in the films “SPUN”, “My Dinner with Jimi” and “Shallow Hal.”
As an advocate of people of size Lisa had many television appearances as herself on “Entertainment Tonight”, “Inside Edition” and “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” She enjoyed breaking the stereotype that a woman of size couldn’t live a rich and fulfilling and exciting life.
Now, a few years later, Lisa is breaking another stereotype by arriving back on the scene, a little bit older and a lot wiser, as an average-sized woman with great skin. She is looking forward to seeing who she gets to be now!
